Cindy Moore, PT

Cindy Moore is a native Clevelander, who attended Austin Peay State University for 3 years while playing on a tennis scholarship. She then transferred and received her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from the Center for Health Sciences at UT Memphis. She has been practicing PT for almost 28 years. She gained work experience in acute care, pediatrics, orthopedics, sports medicine and home health before becoming the owner of Advanced Physical Therapy in 2009, which specializes in orthopedics, higher-level neuro and balance/fall issues. She has worked hard to build a business that provides a relationship with patients that is personal, professional and provides continuity of care. She especially loves to help athletes return to their desired sport and excel after rehabbing an injury.

In her spare time, Cindy loves to be active with running, biking or tennis. She has done some intriguing events such as a Half Ironman, several Ragnar races and an incredible event known as the Run Now Relay. She is married and has 2 grown children. Fun fact…both of her kids graduated from the same high school she did and her son is now attending the same college that she and her husband attended/graduated from.

Paula Peterson, PT

Paula Peterson is originally from Memphis, TN but has been in Cleveland for the past 34 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Christian Brothers University followed by her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from the Center for Health Sciences at UT Memphis. She has been privileged to practice P.T. for almost 40 years, initially working in acute care where she worked with a diverse patient population, supervised staff and mentored many students. Paula has spent the last 10 years focusing on outpatient care with an emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation. She has been with Advanced Physical Therapy since 2013 and says she enjoys practicing in a facility that strives to provide quality, one-on-one care. She loves the focus being on exercise to improve strength, function, and mobility in order to help clients achieve a healthy lifestyle and return to activities they enjoy.

In her leisure time, Paula enjoys outdoor activities – gardening, hiking, camping, and generally spending time in nature with her husband and dogs. Fun fact….both of her children and their spouses are PT’s as well, so it seems to run in the family!
